Expensive annual subscription for a less than good service. I'm writing this after using it for one year. The camera hardware is decent and easy to install. The worst part is that I repeatedly had to reconnect it to wifi. It would disconnect seemingly every day and reconnecting it takes like 5 minutes. It's really not safe to have your baby monitor randomly stop monitoring. I wish I had just used a ring camera or something that didn't need an Internet connection.

When it works, it's great, but ours will just intermittently refuse to connect to any wifi network (and I'm 100% confident it is not any of our networking equipment). I just don't think it's robust or reliable enough to do the (very important) job it's designed for.

I have suddenly stopped receiving notifications. Happening on my husband's phone, too. My notification settings are correct and I've reinstalled the app, but it's still not working. I'd also like to highlight that the camera has been disconnecting from wifi frequently (it's right next to the hub, so distance is not the issue). Extremely frustrated.

Looking back, I wish we would have opted for a different camera. We use the free version of lollipop because we won't pay for a service that has so many issues. There is a 3-5 second delay. The camera consistently loses signal. When we open the app to check on our baby, it often takes up to 5 minutes to connect. Sometimes, it won't connect at all. The music feature often says 'connection failure'. We ed , they said unplug it and plug it back in... they don't do refunds.

Update: sept2024 NO LONGER GET NOTIFICATIONS. I turned notifications off then back on, still nothing. i still have non-stop issues with this app. It is lagging all the time. I can't get a smooth view. I have to wait like 10 seconds for the cam to load. My baby cried for a long time this AM and we had no clue due to sleep! Old review: app kicks us out every few months and won't let us reset pw until we've hit the reset button 30 times. Then it still won't let you . I'm SICK OF THIS.

When the device and the app are working etc it is all good. Unfortunately, we bought the sensor device as well. That stopped working after 1 year. The camera itself got stuck doing an update and froze there. Everytime I ed they said to move it by the router and their team was pushing an update with a week to fix it. That never happened. I replied to the same ticket but they always said the same thing. Finally after 6+ months I got angry and they gave me a solution.

App is fine but the camera is annoying. Disconnects all the time and says the WiFi is weak when it isn't. Bought a WiFi extender to try to help, waste of money cause it still won't hold a connection steady. For a camera this price it should not be this unreliable. Waste of money, unfortunately it was a gift or I'd be returning it asap.

Slow to load camera feeds, requires a additional step (after an app update) to get to the camera feeds, occasionally partially loads a camera feed and EVENTUALLY cleans up the picture. Now, once again, is failing to load the feed of a camera whose firmware was just updated. Overall, these Lollipop cameras feel like planned obsolescence aka e-waste. Updates make things worse, every single time, and don't seem to ever improve anything. Using 1 from 2020 and another from 2022. Don't ask why..
