Stumbled across this game and absolutely loved the intelligence behind all the intricate puzzles created. I will say there were a couple glitches where I had to restart. I think it had to do with me abruptly closing the app in the middle of a sequence or something. Good graphics and very tough puzzles at times. Highly recommend.

Overall a pretty solid game. The controls could use a little work in a few places; there were some times I was stuck because I wasn't moving a piece in exactly the right way, so I just couldn't solve the puzzle. Also the ending was... Nothing, really. A cut scene that consisted of a loooong poem (you can't even skip the audio and just read it yourself). Seriously, like ten minutes. I ended up skipping it after the first minute or so. So the ending was a total letdown; otherwise great game!

Love the storyline and puzzles, some are like seek & finds whereas others are contraptions to unlock. Keeps me on my toes. I don't get bored with this game at all. I love the challenge and appreciate the hints that are given when I feel I need a boost in the right direction.

I want to give this 4.5 stars and only losing half a star because some of the controls can be a little finicky (at least once causing me to give up and get a hint because apparently i didnt touch my screen in just thenright way to activate something). The overall theme and gameplay are fantastic. The puzzles are delightful and generally self-explanatory (as much as puzzles are). The few that i didn't get right away were often met by "oh duh!" moments after getting through them.

Edit - played through again, really intriguing game, definitely recommend! I loved the 1st so I purchased the second. I completed chapter 5, and when I logged in today my profile was gone?! It a great game, and I would recommend it, but losing your progress in a game like this is very discouraging and Idk if I want to do ALL of that again...

This is a great addition to the HOD games. This one is even more story-driven than the first, with more video cut scenes. Those cut scenes aren't as life-like as the rest of the game, but they add a nice element to the overall narrative. Compared to the first game, and similar games like it such as The Room series (highly recommended!), this has excellent graphics and sound. My only complaint is I noticed a few issues with inventory item manipulation and combination that were frustrating.

I really love these games! The puzzles are challenging but not impossible. The visual are great! I appreciate how the camera pans out or in to showcase the unlocking of each creative mechanism for each puzzle. The length of the game seems just right. Keep making great games!!!

A highly cerebral experience. Here the story hits its stride. There's a couple big mechanism puzzles that are really enjoyable, like the Turkish cabinet, & other neat medieval creations, like the pomander. The light puzzle with multiple mirrors was frustrating 😄 A tactical, mechanical experience! Twist, turn, push, slide, press, spin and even... go back in time. A mix of moderate to challenging puzzles. Lovers of The Room series, The Cube Escape series, will def want to this gem.
