Daisho: Survival of a Samurai is an Action RPG with casual survival game mechanics and big village-building possibilities. You'll experience a new type of survival game with quests, continuous open world progression, monthly events and your dumb ways to die not harming your fun level.

🏹 Survival Games, casualized
Chop every tree, hunt rabbits and deer, stone and copper mining - resource management are a staple of every survival game, and Daisho is no different. However, we threw away the hunger games in favor of a replenishing stamina pool so you can start every game session on exploration instead of just preventing yourself from dying.

🏛️ Build your own Japanese village estate
From setting up your first camp to building an entire Japanese village, you'll be pretty busy making a home for yourself and all the rescued souls that turn up to settle as workers. Manage their resource refining jobs, build houses and beautify the city with fountains and other decor.

⚔️ Carry a big stick (mind the pointy end)
Craft your weaponry from a selection of clubs, katanas, bows, spears and more. Upgrade them to make pointy ends even more pointy, embellish your craft with gems and their attributes, and poke around at the Shogun armies, bandit bosses and other generally unfriendly folk.

🗺️ Explore Japan and its dungeons
Dive into dark medieval history and unravel the story of Oda Nobunaga, known as the great Japanese unifier; lead the siege to the stronghold of Kyoto, or rebuild the ancient estates and temples around Mount Fuji. Learning about history has never been more fun!

📅 Enjoy Seasonal Events
Keep coming back for freshly designed seasonal events as they happen. Missed one? Don't worry, we've put them into your game progression and keep them fresh every year.

So close to being a fun free to play game, but it truly Is expertly crafted to be annoying but never "just enough" to uninstall. You deal with the lack of inventory, you return to the grind, you sign at how quick your money vanishes. It's all mundane if boring. But it slowly stacks up on you, all while they criminally high priced "solutions" that would only work for a short time. Wish games like this had paid versions that were just chill and fun to play. Not endless demands for cash.

A good game with great potential but hampered by limited storage space and non-stacking items. Items and equipment have durability, and are incredibly feeble: You will run back to the crafting table to repair them before you've filled a stack of mats. I like the 'find ingredients' button, but it doesn't always work. For example I need a schematic for an axe, and it's nowhere to be found.

The inventory is so limited plus there really isn't a way to earn the green gem needed for the upgrade. It is painfully obvious when you need lots of different types and amount of materials to build stuff to progress. Plus you needed 3 of the same grade item to craft the next tier, you will soon hit the paywall due to the inventory limit.

I like this game a lot so far. LOVE that there is no "energy" mechanic. I wish there was larger inventory space though, I spend a lot of time simply managing inventory. It would be nice to be able to sell extra resources for gold in addition to the order board. It would also be cool to have cooking in the game, I just really like cooking in games. Would be cool to be able to enter buildings too. Fun game so far though. Edit: Watching ads to speed up crafting doesn't work.

I don't understand the concept of running around the pine forest constantly collecting materials to upgrade everything. There is no quest besides occasionally two pop-ups in the pine forest. No quest chains, so that sucks. A bit buggy with ads sometimes makes you repeat it. Not to bad of a game if they fixed some of the issues.

Boring! So repetitive and no other game play. No other enemies and no other task than to build stuff. You don't even have a bag to make to carry more stuff. You have to just go back and forth to places. They provided you with stalls to put your items, but it's selective items and also limited numbers can be put. 🥹 Bro, stop controlling what we can do, let us build whatever we want like the boxes and bag to put stuff. You can control us to what level we can make a bag with certain slots. Ayst.

Good graphics, it has a good story, battles are fine. However, bag spaces is little, it costs a lot of coins for per upgrade. Hunting for gold from enemies are too little to repair good gears like others said. It seems you will eventually hit a pay wall. The ad removed package is useless since the only ads that would refresh are gear repairs. The gem and supply ads refresh every 24hrs.

Fun but Buggy. This is a fun game if you like farming resources, beacause there is a LOT of that. I'm actually having fun rebuilding the castle and making quest items. Honestly, I could do without the PVP arena. Just let me explore, gather resources and kill enemies. Its a beautiful game with calming music that is an excellent distraction. Heck, I'd play this on PC. The problem now is that a bug causes it to crash when I open it, so it's loosing it's appeal. If It's fixed, I'll up the rating.
