Disclaimer
Unfortunately due to lack of a public API from Google there isn't a known way to fetch Reminders from Google Calendar. As much as I would love to do so (because I use Reminders myself all the time) at present time that is, unfortunately, impossible.

Since they removed Simple Calendar Widget from the play store I couldn't find anything that was worthy of my home screen. This thing is functional, elegant, minimal, and easy to configure. Props to the dev for not overloading this with useless functions and not forcing the to use some BS third party calendar.

I can set it up to be pretty visually appealing and connected with my Google calendar, but it really won't sync on its own. If I change or delete an existing event, I'll have to open the settings of this app and then close for the widget to update the event. Update: and on my Pixel 5, I can't have a transparent background, or it will constantly show the app's logo in the background.

Edit: removed One star. One of the best (best looking too) calendar widgets out there. One issue though... The events color is not accurate. The Google colors are much more vibrant while the CW so pale that it's almost impossible to detect the color especially when using just lines or dots and have lower screen brightness.

Love the widget. Worked perfectly on my S20 for a Hotmail calendar. However, just switched to a Pixel and found out that you can't add an O365 calendar to Google Calendar now. Ended up sharing via an .ICS link, so the cal shows in Google now. However, the widget doesn't list the extra cal under my Gmail , so doesn't display. Help would be much appreciated! Edit: I can show the O365 cal now but clicking the events errors with a Google Cal "event not found" error

I like everything about this widget except that it doesn't sync new calendars. If you add a new calendar to your it doesn't show events from that calendar because it doesn't sync available calendars so you can enable them in the settings. I have tried re-adding the widget but the app itself just doesn't see the new calendar. Will give developer a week to update/fix app before removing. This should be easy, even if the sync is simply triggered on dialog creation. Codes already there.

There was one feature I needed but I couldn't find. I want to be able to see past events, but starting today. So if it's 8am and I have an event 6 am, I want that to be shown, but nothing from before today. This is essential for me to keep an eye on my day. Right now, showing past events shows me everything from earlier this week too. That's way too much. Other than that, the app is gorgeous and very functional

love the widget, super clean and adjustable! A few wishes i have for it: I wish I could adjust cell sizes between events, so that events are closer together. Also, Id really really appreciate a feature where tapping the widget could open an app of my choosing (most likely calendar for me, so i could grab a monthly view.) overall great app!

In love. Just the exact calendar widget I was looking for with tons of customisation. Suggestions: Add reminders as well as calendar events (all other calendars are ed). Add the possibility to change date format for events as well (to display weekdays in their full form instead of compact, just like in the toolbar settings). Other than that, nothing. Simply perfect. Love it. Thank you 🖤 Edit: seems to be a bug with the refreshing. Deleted events still display on my widget.
