Updated to 3 stars: It took many attempts to be able to add a credit card as a payment method. I'd add the credit card details, submit, but it wouldn't go through. I tried visa and american express. I cleared cache and storage and also uninstalled and reinstalled the app. When my husband tried adding payment method on his phone, the same thing happened. I waited the next day to try it again and then eventually, the app on my phone accepted american express. I still have no idea what went wrong.

Even MVV tells you it's bad... !! This app just cost me 60 euros, so I would like to give minus 1 star if I could. I tried to buy a ticket while already on the S-Bahn and it failed several times. Both DB and MVV just told me I should've known the app is unreliable (and useless) and should always plan for buying a paper ticket instead. MVV was surprisingly "helpful" and literally said: "Yes, we see in the system that you made 4 attempts to buy a ticket and they all failed. Tough luck".

Update for the gaslighting department: After a half-day of the app infinitely re-opening in the background and instantly crashing, causing a "MVV-App keeps stopping" error message every time, I deleted and re-installed. No more issues since. LG G7 Thinq, Android 10. Stopped working, crashes within a few seconds of opening, then crashes multiple times in the background. Just amazing when your Deutschlandticket is being checked!

Used to work well. Yesterday I woke up and tried to my Deutschland Ticket and it didn't work. I saw a message like "If you have issues ing your ticket, do A, B, C...", but it just showed once, before I realized I had issues ing the ticket. Now I don't what A, B and C was and have no idea how to get my ticket. I would expect this app and the infrastructure behind it to run like a clockwork. How could I trust it otherwise?

I was wondering if Google could introduce negative stars for app ratings. With this app, you can reset your , but after resetting, it doesn’t let you again. The gets reset, but you don’t get to choose a new one. Wonderful, congratulations to the programmers, magic work. Note: I read more reviews and saw that many others have experienced the same problem. How is this possible? Where is the customer service?

For most times, the app is fine with occasionnal errors in loading tickets. However, such errors could be costly within the incompetent German system. I had the misfortune to have had such an error during a ticket inspection, in which my Deutschlandticket could not be loaded, and ended up having to pay fine for it. My Deutschlandticket then magically re-appeared twenty minutes later, which was too late. So, I ended up having to pay for the incompetence of MVV's app designers. Garbage!

No UI/UX. Give s a map while purchasing tickets to understand the zones don't categorize and list them. Its a pain. Better icons, better colors reflecting the brand. A better and more minimal map so s can clearly see where their at, and better info hiearchy. The app needs an entire redesign. You made an app without thinking ability. There are so many great ticket apps out there, some in some outside. Take inspiration, you aren't engineering the worlds first ticket app.

Impossible to add a payment method! Some business you're running, when people can't even pay you! The irony is German! 😂 The app is laggy and not responsive. When I try to add SEPA payment it keeps "redirecting" for an unknown period of time. When I try to add a credit card, it freezes right after I switch to my bank app to confirm the 0.00 Eur payment.
