The app works when it comes to seeing the cameras, but when i try to open setting on the app it ask me to which if you quickly enough it crashes, but if u wait a bit and log back in your still in menu and not in setting, nothing you do can progress from there it's an endless loop of not being able to go into settings. (UPDATE: A small bit of trial and error. You MUST have location permission on before opening it. It would be better if it reminded rather then crashed.)

Used to love the app but the new timeline is awful. There is no ability to fast forward/reverese and it breaks the videos into chunks. There are parts of video that are missing and can't record clips over multiple motion detections. Also it is no longer detecting people but seems to detect when the wind blows. I get hundreds of notifications overnight but it doesn't catch us when we leave the house. Whatever they did a few months ago needs to be reverted or fixed.

update: app is worse after latest update. Thumbnails use to show what triggered the motion. Now you have to view each thumbnail to the point of motion and then it goes blank and you miss it. Just stupid. Older: Playback goes blank right at the moment something goes past the camera. It's stupid. Less functionality than previous lorex apps. Needs fast forward and the ability to go right into live view and move cameras around etc. like previous lorex apps. App design keeps getting worse after updat

1 star for the app, 5 stars for the hardware. Since their last update, the app is awful. It crashes in less than 1 minute showing 'no recordings' or 'oops! something went wrong'. Only solution is to force stop and start the app again. And if you , the timer goes down to 15sec in which you can and then it crashes. The timeline bar was fine. You didn't need to change it and make everything else not working.

Why do companies keep updating their apps to new interface that works worse than previous one? This app was working just fine before. Now with this version I can't scroll to a specific time! It will only snap to the nearest motion detection. Also, in not seeing any way to fast forward/reverse when in full screen. Just leave it alone if it's working!!!!

Application is certainly better than it was over the past several years... Latest update made it so the wifi camera playback is impossible to precisely scrub through second by second footage... It will skip from, for example: 23:00 to 23:05 and will not let you see the footage in-between those times. This is ridiculous and needs to be fixed. Not everything caught on camera is an "event" within a zone .. some things are outside of the motion zone.

With the new update you actually managed to somehow make it worse. When I need to look at the timeline, I don't have time to watch 30 minutes at a time. Before it was almost unusable, trying to drag the bar to find what I needed. Who actually thought this is a good idea? Why don't you try something simple, like drag the timeline bar to get close, then forward and reverse 2x, 4x, 8x forward and reverse search. Eberytime I have to use this app, I regret buying lorex cameras

9/24 review: Fire your app designers immediately! You are about to lose so many customers after your 9/24 update. Revert it back ASAP. None of our systems are working properly. My previous review of the old app version is not great either: Crashes. Lags. You have to scroll to the end of the entire day's recording to catch something from 30 seconds ago... and then it fails to play unless you close the app, select timeline again, scroll again... and then, maybe, it might play.
