I loved it when I first ed it about a year ago, but I'm finally at the point where I'm incredibly sick of almost every single "good" officer you get in packs being one of the many fake, anime-looking characters that weren't introduced until DW 8 or 9, or a silly variation of one of those characters. And given how long it takes just to get one of these "good", playable officers, I see absolutely no reason to put money into this game. It would just make me angry if I did to get packs.

Okay, so after several updates the game is more bearable, only issues that remain are certain difficulties in the higher ranking matches, like they'll have certain conditions where pretty much u can't do anything against the opponents, ex: "every1 does significantly increased dmg, but (X type officer) receives significantly decreased dmg. thn at the same time force u not to use the type that receives less dmg, unless u can "overpower" the opp, u pretty much lose Everytime. Shop is much better.

There are too many loading screens taking at least 10 seconds. Collecting daily rewards is also unnecessarily lengthy (avg 5 minutes!!), since I have to go back and forth between different UIs just to collect them. Enlistment should be done in a single press instead of having to mash the button 10+ times. The gameplay was fine— my complaint would be directed at the performance which suffers from the occasional lag. An actual live PvP mode could be nice.

Just getting started and some errors are obvious. The UI crashes dependably. Cannot do a summon without needing a restart. During morning play testing, because I decided to be fair, the server connections are only lagged by the UI crashing. The game itself has a control scheme with no instructions? I don't know what these buttons do, but it's all flashy and floating. I think I'd like them, but what thought went in them means little now. When told the game crashing was my fault, I uninstalled.

The perk of Dynasty Warriors is a 2 button combat system that never feels repetitive. Trying to make dynasty warriors complicated so you can add an auto button because now you have 12 buttons, timed city building aspects, No actual maps, just small "Arenas" it's just a skin of every other mobile game. But with characters we love. I hate this game.

My initial review was not great while being the first 24 hrs of playing. Now that it's over a week, I really like this game. The idle portion for materials has me waiting for notifications. The many ways to play in such a new format has me hooked. Let go of the console version idea to experience something new, yet familiar. My only disappointment is you have to have a network connection at all times. I would love to the story/conquest line and play at my leisure. No crashes on Pixel 7A

Love the game. The graphics are top notch, the story is phenomenal as ever, and the combat is smooth. The controls are too difficult to understand, and while auto play sounds good in theory, it makes the game boring. Really want to love this game, but 4 stars for now.

A really mediocre entry for the series. I've played every DW from 2-Overlords and this one is pretty depressing. It has a lot of potential and graphically it looks superior so maybe I'll try it again down the line but there's no character to it and the gameplay is abysmally stripped down compared to almost any other entry. I'll be sticking with Overlords until they figure out what they're doing here...
