- - - - WORDS + STRATEGY = AWESOME

Pick your words wisely! As you work, more tiles rise from the bottom of the screen, and it'll take all of your lexicological wits, and tactical know-how to keep them down. If any of the letters make it to the top row, it's game over.

- TOWER MODE : No pressure here. Try and get the highest score possible out of 140 tiles, eliminating small words to set up 7- and 8-letter blockbusters!

- DAILY TOWER MODE : Stack up against other players on identical towers that change daily!

- PUZZLE MODE : Every word you make adds a new row of letters! Strategic word finding at its best.

- EXTREME PUZZLE MODE : Puzzle mode with the minimum word length cranked up. Experts only!

- ZEN MODE : Puzzle mode without any length requirements.

- RUSH MODE : Rows of letters build up over time. Find words as fast as you can, but be careful you don't back yourself into a corner!

- ing them is the brand new Search mode, plus ExPuzzle, Double Puzzle, Bubble Puzzle, and Blitz mode!

That’s eleven modes in all!

It's good, and very different from other word puzzle games. Maybe I'm crazy but I feel like there are patterns in how letters appear, rather than them being completely random, which can be annoying if you're basically guaranteed to not get a the letters you need. I guess if you play a lot and learn the tendancies well it could be really fun, but it's just not for me.

This is a great game, however there are just a couple of technical issues that stop it from being all it can be. First and foremost, some words can't be cleared and some letter tiles can't be used because of where the word bar is at the top of the screen. The number of times I've tried to confirm a word but wound up ending a game early by accident is disappointing. Secondly, logging in across devices doesn't sync progress and settings. With those issues addressed, SpellTower would earn 5-stars.

Great game, it's the best word game I own. The ability to propose unrecognized words is a great implementation too. One bug I've come across: On Samsung flip 5, I can't select the two tiles in the top right because the "I'm done" and "confirm" buttons get in the way. (Not a make or break, but def worth mentioning) Not sure if it's a universal bug, I know this Flip 5 screen ratio is odd. Sorry to mention here, just the most direct and wanted you to know. Love the game! TY devs!

I love love love the puzzle mode on this game. If I could give it five stars I would. The reason for the three stars is that after about a month the game no longer works for me. It loads to a black screen. Despite deleting the app and reinstalling it multiple times and turning my phone off and back on again multiple times I can't get it work for me again. So bummed! I even forked out money for the paid version because I was enjoying it so much. Such a waste.

The free to play experience is great I have a lot of fun with this game, the ads aren't overbearing at all! Unfortunately I have to give this four stars because the "I'm Done" button is placed in such a way that players that tap the letters instead of swiping are at risk of accidentally pressing it near the beginning of the game. Otherwise it is fun and the rush mode kinda reminds me of tetris lol

I've always loved words games and this hits the mark for me. My issue is the functionality. In the Tower Mode, it's impossible to clear the top row because you activate the drop down for "I'm done/Quit". This happens in puzzle mode too. I would be happy to change my rating to 5 stars once this issue is fixed.

Great game for word game lovers, so many modes, and Puzzle is perpetual, or multi-day once you get the hang of it. Addictive! Noodlecake has resolved the Android issues so it now works well. Sure, the free ad version is too annoying, but if it looks interesting from that alone, go for it. There are short fast daily games, timed games, or at-your-pace-forever games, all built on the same concept but each a little different. I thought it might be too small on a phone, but I have this on 3 devices large to small, and works just as well on each. Big fan!

Stops your podcast/ music. I usually listen to a podcast while playing games. Sometimes the podcast will keep playing when the game is first started, but it stops (and will not restart) it as soon as I switch apps. This feature (or lack thereof) has decreased my usage and interest in the game. Game play wise, it gets less fun as more and more 6-Letter words letters fill up the board.
