Update: customer service is helpful and willing to work with you. Hope it works better for you than me. ed this after reading and watching the YouTube video on how to do this. Set up the correct address, both devices connected to my wifi, doesn't send anything to my TV. Does not even give me the cast option! Not happy with paying for an app that does not work.

This app is a trainwreck. No dark theme, unintuitive UI, finicky functionality, features within the settings menu cost money. While trying to watch a single YouTube video, the app forced me to watch an ad before the video would play. The ad played on the phone, but the video played instantly on the TV. Asking people to shell out more $ to watch content on the TV they've already purchased is ignorant. This app blows chunks, I'll stick to native casting and chrome.

10 years ago, I would be ok with jumping through this many hoops. Save yourself precious moments of life and just get a roku, firestick, or chomecast. I don't know what proprietary games they were playing when they manufactured my Sony "smart" TV, but this is garbage--both ends. The adds, the apps, the incompatible, incompetent, un-intuitive conglomeration that they've derived is a completely embarrassing waste. This app is useless.

worst app ever! couldnt watch a thing! had both my phone & tv connected to the same wifi, same IP & everything just as instructed, yet everytime I click the app on my tv it disconnects from the wifi! waste of time, waste of data ing this horrible app & the other app reccomended for my device via the FAQ. I will never ever make this mistake again. This is the second time this has happened! last time was w/ my older tv and my older phone, thought maybe upgrading would help; yet here I am👹

I have a Sony Bravia LED Smart TV. I felt that my long wait was over after finding thus app on the app store, but it had to disappoint me. I followed the instructions, after entering the IP on the TV screen it does nothing, it stays 'red' which is the sign of not connected. I followed the t/s steps and all other things but nothing helped. Such a wonderful app, I wasted an hr to make it work, but it was in vain

This app is useless. ed to be able to my Sony TV and followed the step only to find out you can only cast media from within the Sony Video & TV cast app. It does not allow you to cast from other apps on your device. It was a hassle to set up and then turned out to be useless. Nothing more than a waste of time

excellent app but a problem with CC(Closed Captions). When I go back to watch local TV channels, the closed captions on the TV disappear and the only way to see the closed captions is to unplug the TV and plug it back in. In other words, the app messes up the TV's Closed Captions.

Really bad application, it's not intuitive and even when you figure out how to use it, it doesn't work. After getting connected on the same IP, the video player in the TV just kept buffering no matter how long we left it. Total bs.
