Really enjoy this app. I can track and post my birding sessions and interact with fellow birdwatching enthusiasts. I always enjoy looking at the incredible photographs people share. There are many very talented photographers on this app that share on a regular basis. I haven't ed their birda+ yet as I'm not sure if it's a one time fee of $40 or if it's broken down into payments. The payment option would be better for me but I'm assuming it's so much easier for them to do a one time charge.

I really dislike the new method of logging birds because it resets the scrolling each time you enter a new bird. If I want to log several egrets, I have to type "egret" each time instead of just clicking through like in the old method. Also, lately I haven't been able to sessions because it stays listed as "saving" but it never finishes.

The app works pretty well, but what really recommends the app is their help desk. I emailed with a glitch in the app (couldn't see any of the photos when trying to search for different birds or when I wanted to see the photos that I had ed.) Sarah replied promptly and kept up correspondence until the issue was resolved. I really appreciate that!

I've enjoyed Birda for tracking the birds that I see, add pictures that I either take while out or later from my camera. Good for single bird sight or session. Love the lists: Monthly, Yearly, Life- with little reward badges as you get more birds. However, a few small things: 1. There are some issues when viewing birds on the life lists, it may pick a different bird to show rather than the one clicked 2. Very "social" geared, not my thing. I'd have Lists, Drafts, My Recent more prominent.

Fun, kind community, and especially accessible for newbies (though not by any means limiting for more advanced birdwatchers). I enjoy having the opportunity to help others with bird identification, and the badges are kind of fun -- I'm always eager to add a new bird. Some of the challenges help build and retain momentum, as well. Friendly UI.

Accessible and fun interface, and great concept to connect bird lovers across the world! Main criticism from me is that sometimes the app lags and crashes, especially when editing a checklist to add photos. Also, I suggest that when on a birding walk mode, the number of individuals for each species logged can be more easily accessed and added, say with an additional plus/minus button set, similar to other birding apps. Overall, liking this app and fun birding challenges & badges!

Love this app, use it every day. The interface for entering sightings is easier and more intuitive than other apps/websites I've tried. The monthly and special occasion challenges have encouraged me to spend more time outside compared with when I was just manually keeping a list for the year. And finally, yesterday I had an issue with the functionality of the app -- and their team responded to me within just a few hours with a solution that actually fixed the issue right away. 5/5 *****

The app is at a great start. The biggest annoyance is that the mapping is funky. I try to reactively add bird sightings and it'll initially post it as my current location even though I submitted something different. I them have to go back and edit each post. It would be nice to log walks retroactively as well. Currently it only s live logging of walks.
